The Real Insider, a well-known video game leaker, misled on who they were in what is essentially a rookie error. Read on to learn more about the man who made the leaks.
The Real Insider has established itself by leaked a number of video game secrets. His most recent one was the Assassin's Creed series. Last week, Ubisoft unveiled its plans for the Assassin's Creed franchise, including Assassin's Creed Mirage, and more.
After the latest information on the Assassin's Creed games was released, he even referred to himself as "THE Insider." His pride will soon come to an end, however, as a minor error resulted in his demise.
On September 19, 2022, @oOStep_Oo sent a tweet to The Real Insider's Twitter account, claiming to be the Real Insider. However, Dan Allen (@DanAllenGaming) answered the question as if he were The Real Insider.
Jason Schreier, a well-known video game journalist, dug up tweets from both Allen's and the Insider's accounts. He discovered that the two would respond to the same game within the same time period. This includes the leak about Assassin's Creed Mirage, where Allen himself tweeted that he was grateful to Ubisoft for allowing him to see it in Assassin's Creed Mirage. Schreier even pointed out the differences between the tweets, citing writing patterns
Allen deleted the Real Insider Twitter account following the revelation. He later tweeted an apology and posted an apology video on his channel.
Allen expressed his displeasure for himself as well as the Clout in both texts. As stated in the tweet, Dan plans to take a break to reflect on his actions. We don't know when or when Allen will return, but in all probability, people's opinions of him will never be the same.
