Summer Time Rendering is based on Yasuki Tanaka's suspense-mystery manga published by Shonen Jump+, which has been serialized from 2017 to 2021. Studio OLM is directing the anime adaptation, which started airing last season. Disney+ holds the streaming rights.
On Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform, the manga is available. The plot is described as follows: After hearing of Ushio's death, Shinpei returns to his hometown of Wakayama City on Hitogashima and reunites with his childhood friend's family. The funeral goes smoothly, but underneath the surface something strange is unfolding on the island. What mysteries await him on this secluded summer island?
