My Makeover Darling Anime Gets a Sequel, A Trailer, and Manga Authors' Congratulations ...

My Makeover Darling announced on September 17 that the anime would receive a sequel, along with a welcome message and illustration from the author, Shinichi Fukuda.

"I'm very grateful for that." says the author. "I'm looking forward to it."

On the day, the anime held a special event titled "Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru" -Ma?! Atsumi Tanezaki (Sajuna Inui), Hina Yomina (Shinju Inui), Spira Spica (the opening theme song "San San Days") and Akari Akase (the closing theme song "Koi no Yukue"

By posting a brief tweet on July 6, the official Twitter account for the My Dress-Up Darling anime foreshadowed the July 7 announcement of the special event: "Come to think of it, it's Tanabata tomorrow..." Tanabata is an annual festive occasion when people in Japan celebrate and wish on July 7.

In the spring of 2022, Studio CloverWorks published a 12-episode-long My Dress-Up Darling based on Shinichi Fukuda's romantic manga of the same name, which was published in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine. The ninth volume was published in March 2022, and the total number of circulating copies was up until June 14, 2022. The next, 10th volume is scheduled to be released on September 24, 2022.

The sixth volume of Square Enix will be released on August 16, 2022. Marin Kitagawa, a trendy girl who's always surrounded by a group of friends, is an enticing prospect to Wakana's secret hobby: cosplay! Will Wakana's wounded heart be able to deal with the invasion of this sexy alien?
