Motive Studios is developing an Iron Man game, according to EA ...

EA has announced that a game from Motive Studios is in the works, echoing previous claims. Good day!

EA's Motive Studio was founded in 2015 and has released Star Wars Battlefront 2 as well as Star Wars Squadrons. However, the studio has revealed that it is also working on a Dead Space remake.

Will there be a connection to the Black Panther game?

Back in August 2022, rumors of EA developing an Iron Man game began making the rounds.

Moreover, rumors claim that the Iron Man game will be linked to Amy Hennig's studio, Skydance Media's recently announced Black Panther/Captain America game. However, this connection between the two games has yet to be confirmed further than fan speculation.

From a third-person perspective, the new Iron Man game will be a single-player action-adventure game.

EA promised to tap: "into Iron Man's rich history, channeling Tony Stark's complex, charisma, and creative genius," and enabling players to "experience what it's like to play Iron Man."

Olivier Proulx, who was also the producer of Square Enix's Guardians of the Galaxy, will direct the project.

Proulx will be joined by other industry veterans, Ian Frazier (Mass Effect Andromeda), Maelenn Lumineau (Assassin's Creed Odyssey) and JF Poirier (Star Wars Squadrons).

"It's an honor and a joy to have the opportunity to make a video game based on one of the most famous Super Heroes in entertainment today," said Proulx.

“We have a fantastic opportunity to create a fresh and unique narrative that we may call our own.” Marvel is encouraging us to try something new. We have a lot of freedom, which is so motivating for the team.”

When will Iron Man be released?

Iron Man: EA's work on a release date and platforms isn't available at the time of writing.

Nonetheless, it's safe to assume that its release will be a few years away. Additionally, it's likely to be released on PC as well as new-gen consoles.
