If you like Amazon's Fire series of tablets, you may be interested to learn that following a teaser from an invite the other day, the company has released a number of new tablets.

These new tablets all fall under the company's Fire HD 8 series of tablets, but there are different variations and models for different purposes and prices.

The basic Fire HD 8 tablet is priced at $99.99, making it a steal and a great value for money Android tablet. It has an 8-inch display, 2GB of RAM, and a battery life of up to 13 hours.

The Fire HD 8 Plus is a somewhat souped-up variant over the base model, with more RAM at 3GB, wireless charging support, and also a 5MP rear-facing camera, all of which can be purchased for as little as $119.99.

The Fire HD 8 Kids is available in two versions: the Pro model, which is for children aged 3 to 12.

Both models will cost $149.99, with the Pro model offering access to a digital storefront so parents can assist them in purchasing books, games, and apps.
