Nvidia has announced the next-generation flagship gaming graphics cards RTX 4090 and RTX 4080.

Nvidia has released three new RTX 40 series graphics cards, the latest iteration of the company's popular RTX GPU family, at the GeForce Beyond special event.

During the NVIDIA Digital Launch Event, the GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards were powered by the innovative, ultra-efficient NVIDIA Ada Lovelace 3rd Gen RTX architecture, which offers a quantum leap in performance, neural rendering, and other advanced platform features. Both systems have been introduced by NVIDIA's new generation of GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards, which are located in California.

The first GPU is the GeForce RTX 4090, built on Nvidia's new Ada Lovelace architecture, which includes 24GB of G6X RAM and is said to be two to four times faster than the RTX 3090 Ti, which was previously used by Nvidia. For ray tracing, some games, like Portal, will be able to use the RTX upgrade.

Nvidia's next-generation GPUs are crucial for the company, as many have criticized the previous generation's lack of power, which Nvidia appears to have addressed with a minimum of 12 and 16GB GDDR6X for the RTX 4080; the most expensive model, the RTX 4090, costs $1599.
