Legendary Star Studio has revealed Ashfall during the TGS, with a 5-minute gameplay demo and a new trailer.
"Ashfall is set in a post-apocalyptic world that has been ravaged by a nuclear conflict, as mankind's greatest creation once turned against them. The war was triggered by a vast artificial intelligence that attempted to destroy all life on the planet, except for the robots. Humanity fought, however, and the last humans created settlements among the ruins of their previous glory".
Here's the gameplay demonstration: but let's not bury the lead.
As you can see, it appears to be a third-person shooter with a lot of customization, and publisher Netease Games is eager to state that Hans Zimmer, the composer who has worked on titles like Dune, Dunkirk, Gladiator, Inon Zur, who has worked on Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Fallout: New Vegas, and Steve Mazzaro (No Time to Die, Army of Thieves, The Amazing Spider-Man 2), is the composer.
Below is a teaser for another trailer:
Ashfall will be released on PC in 2023.
