Kendrick Lamar and Megan Thee Stallion have been announced as the new SNL musical guest for the first 48th season. The season debut will be hosted by none other than Miles Teller and will feature musical guest Kendrick Lamar. Megan Thee Stallion reportedly made her SNL debut in October 2019 performing 'Handsome' with host Chance the Rapper.

Saturday Night Live has announced its guest lineup for the first half of October, and the long-running comedy program is scheduled to feature a few notable hip-hop personalities. On Tuesday, 20th September, SNL announced the upcoming slate of special guest appearances for the following month. Kendrick Lamar will play the musical guest on the first day of October while Miles Teller will play as musical relief. Megan Thee Stallion will take double duty on the 15th October as the host and the musical guest.

Megan Thee Stallion posted a photo of her upcoming appearance on Instagram, underlining that a photo of the announcement. The album, which was titled Traumazine, is expected to be released in the coming months, along with Baby Keem and Tanna Leone, which has sparked much discussion.
