'The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist,' a three-part Netflix original that lives up to its title in every way, can only be described as both captivating and amusing. Among them was Diana Tamayo, who was also involved in the heist.

Diana Tamayo, who is she?

Diana Tamayo, an undocumented Mexican immigrant who attended Indian Hills High School in Calabasas, California, was Class President in 2008, months before she joined her friends/schoolmates Rachel Lee and Nick Prugo to take a celeb's house for the first time. According to reports, the then-19-year-old's initial hit was actor Orlando Bloom around early 2009, following which she freely took part in a few more massive residential loots with this group.

Nick's arrest a few months later caused everything to go awry, especially as he confessed and led authorities directly to each guilty accomplice (on his lawyer's advice). Diana was identified as a crucial component of the operation since she reportedly could crawl through dog doors or be boosted up windows so that she could open the way for others. Yet, when Investigative Lead Brett Goodkin was discovered to be serving as a paid advisor on a film based on this case, things turned in her favor.

Detective Goodkin's credibility was totally harmed in this particular, ongoing case when he was still formally assigned to it, according to the Netflix docuseries. "We knew that we would not be able to go to trial," Deputy District Attorney Christine Kee wrote in the three-part production. In October 2012, Diana was allowed to plead no contest to a single count of burglary at Lindsay Lohan's house — otherwise she might have faced deportation.

Diana (then 21) received 60 hours of community service at the California Department of Transportation, three years of probation, plus time served in the county jail in exchange for her plea. She was also required to pay restitution to her victim.

Diana prefers to live a quiet life, far away from the spotlight these days, according to all accounts. Yet, we do know she is happily married, has found deep faith, and is a dedicated nutritionist and personal trainer.

Diana admitted to The Daily Beast back in 2013, and she continues to pursue her passion today.
