Geoff Goodman, the designer of Overwatch 2, has left Activision Blizzard.
Goodman was the lead hero designer behind a lot of Overwatch's most well-known characters, however he "made the decision to leave Blizzard earlier this year".
"We applaud Geoff for his a few years of service at Blizzard, and we need him to be all the best," the company said in an announcement to PC Gamer. With Overwatch's newcomers already in place, a lot of Goodman's work on the sequel might have been completed already. However, as a reside service recreation, it'll wish loads of new heroes within the coming months and years... and dropping Goodman isn't the best decision.
