The Samsung Galaxy S23 may continue to use a mix of Qualcomm and Exynos chipsets ...

Users have enthused about Samsung's choice of using Exynos chipsets over the years, as the Qualcomm variants have proven to be a better performer, and the fact that some users are "forced" to use the Exynos versions while paying the same price has not gone down well with many users.

Unfortunately, Samsung's preference for Qualcomm and Exynos chipsets might continue in 2023. According to a GalaxyClub.nl article, Samsung is working on two new Exynos chipsets, one of which will be lower to mid-range handsets, while the other is expected to make its way into the Galaxy S23.

This is because there aren't that many high-end Samsung phones that use Exynos chipsets, thus there aren't that many other options. It's unclear what kind of specs this new Exynos chipset might be able to offer. To be fair, this chipset might not be all bad news.

Various reports have suggested that Samsung might be leaving Qualcomm's chipsets at the same time. So for the time being, this article should be taken with a grain of salt. We'll see more information by the end of the year.
