Eilyn and Ray Jimenez, both interior designers, are married, but they have separate design agencies and are each other's direct competitors in the professional arena. Hence, it is fascinating to observe them balancing their personal relationships as they pursue new heights.
Ray Jimenez stood out from the start due to his sociable nature, but he refused to give up on Eilyn's dreams. Moreover, the show revealed that Ray was willing to sacrifice anything for the sake of the success of his own business.
Ray Jimenez's Background
Ray was raised in a loving and close-knit family, and both his parents were immigrants, which made him start from the bottom. However, his close ones encouraged him to maintain a strong familial bond, which he continues to today.
Ray has been interested in art since he was a kid, and said that he would often draw photographs of his family as well as other sketches as he got older, and that he became interested in fashion design during his senior year. Hence, he began studying architecture at the Miami International University of Art & Design.
Ray discovered his one true calling when he completed his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Miami Dade College in 2006, then continued to study another Interior design degree at The Art Institutes before becoming a full-time career in interior design.
Ray Jimenez's Profession
Ray completed his degree at Miami Dade University as a Visual Merchandiser Assistant and Sales Associate at Guess? In April 2007, he joined Domus Design Studio as a Project Manager and Designer before joining the TSAO Design Group as an Interior Designer in 2010. Interestingly, Ray was working at RS3 Designs when he got the idea to start his own independent business. In June 2022, Ray took on the position of Creative Director at his agency.
Ray Jimenez's Wife
Ray Jimenez is married to Eilyn Jimenez, and the pair have established a wonderful friendship. Although they are still constructing their own house in Miami Shores, Eilyn is also a part of 'Designing Miami,' which documents the activities her business, SIRE Design, undertakes every day.
Ray and Eilyn met for the first time in 2017, but they tied the knot in 2019 and celebrated their two-year marriage anniversary in October 2021. We wish them luck in the long run.
