The RTX 3070 Ti version will soon receive a significant memory upgrade.

Nvidia may be developing a new GeForce RTX 3070 Ti GPU, according to a most recent leak about the team's graphics cards; we'll discuss that later. As you may know, the Gigabyte RTX 3070 Ti Gaming OC graphics card that is now available only has 8GB of video RAM, so this potential graphics card upgrade would provide a significant memory increase.

Nvidia is planning an RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB of RAM, rather than 12GB, according to the most recent report; however, a new 3060 Ti model was mentioned, as well as reports of an RTX 3060 Ti with 8GB of RAM. This implies that the current graphics card may have the same revved-up RAM.

Nvidia is expected to release at least one or two upgraded Ampere graphics cards as part of its larger near-term GPU deployment strategy, which may not be until 2023, because high-end RTX 4090 and 4080 would likely come first.
