Camila Cabello Makes Her Appearance as a News Coach for 'The Voice' in 2022.
Kelly Clarkson will be replaced by Camila Cabello as the Voice's coach next season.
Cabello, a 25-year-old member of Fifth Harmony, was born in Cuba. They met while auditioning for "The X Factor" in 2012.
Cabello said, "If anyone wants to explore their individuality, it is wrong for people to tell you no."
Cabello recorded three albums with Shawn Mendes and Machine Gun Kelly before releasing her Latin-influenced debut album, "Camila," in 2018.
Cabello appeared in Amazon Prime's "Cinderella" musical in 2021.
Cabello said to People that she initially felt "imposter syndrome" as a "voice" coach.
I want to be fair to the contestants, and sometimes I'm like — there's somebody who is 40, they've been doing this for so long, and I'm like, 'I think you should do it like this.'
I'm like, you know what? No, because I've been doing this for ten years now and I've had extreme situations where it hasn't been a long journey either, according to the speaker. So I've had to gather a lot of knowledge in a brief period of time. I do have something to offer and I try to be as helpful as possible.
Because I am absolutely killing it, I don't feel pressure anymore.
