In his latest Twitter video, Tom Brady said he was "sorry" to fans when he referred to a recent outburst he had during a football game. He apologized for frustratingly throwing his tablet to the ground during Sunday's game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints.
Tom said in the video, referring to his team's winning run since defeating the Dallas Cowboys earlier this month. "The ugly ones count too. Sorry for breaking that tablet. I think that's going to be another Twitter meme or something like that."
Tom shared the video online, and his followers responded with warm words. One fan praised Tom, while another joked that they already have resentment for the professional athlete. A fourth thanked him for all he has done for the team.
Tom's latest apologies video comes after he was accused of having marital difficulties with his wife Gisele, with whom he has two children, Benjamin, 12 and Vivien, 10, during a brief break from the Buccaneers' training camp this year. Gisele later said she was concerned about Tom's returning to the NFL after briefly retiring back in the spring. She also stated in an interview that she regretted doing so.
“It's a very violent sport, and I want him to be more present,” she told Elle magazine earlier this month. “I've definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I think everybody has to make a decision that works for [them.] He has to follow his passion as well."
Tom and Gisele were married in 2009 and have been very open about their love over the years. The model and her children have accompanied her husband to many of his football games to show their support. Neither one of them has commented on the recent separation allegations.
