The Old Man is a American drama thriller television series created by Jonathan E. Steinberg and Robert Levine. The show's executive producers are Jonathan E. Steinberg, Dan Shotz, Warren Littlefield, Robert Levine, Jon Watts, Jeff Bridges, and David Schiff.

The first season of the show on FX was released on June 16, 2022. The first season consists of seven episodes. Following its premiere, the series was renewed for a second season.

Season 2 will likely premiere sometime in mid-to-late 2023.

Plot and Cast of The Old Man

Season 2 will most likely deal with the aftermath of Chase and Harper's quest to save Emily, and get to Faraz Hamzad. Zoe is still one of his most powerful support systems, and as he is now reunited with Harper.

Morgan Bote was always the one who was deciding the outcome. He was always the one who took the risks and pulled the strings. With Zoe (Amy Brenneman) and Emily (Alia Shawkat) as collateral, they became the big men.

The main characters for Season 2 are expected to reprise their roles, according to John Lithgow as Harold Harper, Bridges as Dan Chase, and Amy Brenneman as Zoe McDonald, considering her character's situation is in jeopardy. Also, Leem Lubany as Young Abbey Chase / Belour and E. J. Bonilla's Raymond Waters will all return.
