A new third-person mode and a release date for Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 have been announced ...

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 has finally received a release date. There will also be a new third-person mode.

The PlayStation and Xbox gamers who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be eligible for the multiplayer beta this week.

The release date for the free-to-play Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 has been announced along with the launch of Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to the 2019 reboot.

The release date for Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has been set.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is expected to be released on November 16th, much sooner than its predecessor, according to previous reports. The reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be released on October 25th, 2019.

Allerdings, Warzone's first iteration was not released until March 10th, 2020. So at the very least, we won't be waiting too long for 2.0 to arrive.

Warzone 2.0 will have the same engine as the Modern Warfare 2 remake, allowing for further continuity between the two games.

What is new in Warzone 2.0?

There will be a new third-person mode in Warzone, as well as the traditional first-person perspective, as well as the third-person viewpoint, as part of Modern Warfare 2 playlists, which make a reference to the OG MW2 of 2009.

The new location for Warzone is a desert map called Al Mazrah. AI soldiers will also patrol loot on the map, adding an extra level of difficulty for real-world players. So not only will Warzone 2.0 have simultaneous PvE, but also.

A new sandbox mode will be released, apparently Call of Duty's take on Escape from Tarkov, which is considered a hardcore shooter.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is now available.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will include cross-progression as well as shared social features with its PC and console counterparts, according to Activision Blizzard.
