Foxconn reopens its iPad assembly facility in China ...

Foxconn, Apple's main manufacturing partner, has fully restored iPad assembly at its facility in China's Sichuan province after a partial factory closure in early August due to power outages in the country.

According to Nikkei Asia, iPad manufacturing at Foxconn's Chinese factory has resumed. Furthermore, the authorities provide electricity to the company on a priority basis, taking into account the economic impact on the region.

As the new iPads aren't expected to be released until October, it's unclear how this interruption will affect iPad production in the long run.
