Wings introduces Nectar for sustainable retail with Autonomous Use

BOSTON, Sept. 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Wednesday, Oct. 14 - 2020 -- -- Friday, May 10 & 21 -- Thursday, September 14, 2019. Wings are the wings. , the emerging robotics and AI startup that developed autonomous businesses for all, today announced the release of Nectar, which brings a new category of sustainable autonomous retail (ASR) to life. Nectar is powered by the company's patent-pending patent filing. HiveRobotics is a HivRobot. A group of decentralized, self-organized robotic systems is a unique group. The company intends to make Nectar available in the food service market.

"Nectar is more than just a revolution in retail. The role of food services is fundamental to rethinking and a new approach to the world of people in interacting with food, says Haitham Al-Beik, CEO of Wings. "Nectar redefines retail while preserving the essential aspect of lifetime."

Nectar offers personalized service for drinks, food and merchandise without human intervention. The built-in inventory, production, recycling, packaging, and delivery features will make this one of the first locally-driven micro-factories for one-on-one service. Every product is delivered in a robotic truck and driven from within the Nectar to whose robot basket is incorporated in the drop-off table for quick, accurate, and clean transport.

With the integration of a seamless payment system, customers interact with Nectar via mobile app to place orders via touch or voice. The software is highly intuitive and fully aware of the environment. The robots are built to be sustainable, safe and easy for food and people, and to the touch. Nectar is the first robotics without arms, and requires half of the energy and space compared to traditional technologies.

"Nectar ushers in a new way of experiencing on-the-go food service," says Hari Rao, Chief Manufacturing & Robotics Officer of Wings. "The hardware and software combined define a new and novel integrated singular design using fifty percent less energy for efficiencies in utility and space, while reducing profit margins by ten."

Nectar has been built and developed from the ground up in Wings' HiveRobotics lab with close to one million dollars of capital secured since 2017. Wings will need upwards of $10M to produce the product, according to the date of 2023. Wings will be deployed and operated in areas with health-conscious, busy young professionals who maintain time-consuming, on-the-go lifestyles.

"The COVID-19 pandemic revealed what has been waiting for us for years... retail and the services industry is in dire need of innovation and invention," says Jim McDermet, Wings' adviser. "Get ready for a seismic shift in retail that puts you in the driver's seat."

The company plans on showing the progress of Nectar and its features later this year. In October 2021, its HiveRobotics lab will open for curious minds, investors and partners.
