Kin is an Irish television crime drama series created by Peter McKenna and Ciaran Donnelly. Ciaran Donnelly, David Davoli, Samantha Thomas, Steven Thibault, and Aaron L. Gilbert are all executive producers.

The program began broadcast on RTE on September 9, 2021. In February 2022, the series launched on AMC+ in the United States and Canada. A second season of the series was announced on February 10, 2022.

Plot and Cast of Kin

Coming to the plot, When a member of the Kinsella clan is killed, the family embarks on a gangland war with the Cunninghams international cartel, a war that is impossible to win. Out-numbered, out-financed, and out-gunned the Kinsellas find themselves trapped in their Dublin stronghold while their businesses fail and family members and associates are picked off.

Season one's tragic end saw Eamon's long reign of terror come to an end with a gunshot. Season two will continue to focus on the Pinellas' lives, which have become more complicated as a result of Eamon's death. One thing is certain, however, that season two will haunt them.

The actors from Season 1 are expected to reprise their roles, according to Charlie Cox, Clare Dunne, Aidan Gillen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Sam Keeley, and Ciaran Hinds.

The release date for season two has yet to be announced. A conservative estimate would say that the program would take another year before it will be released on screens.
