Courteney Cox, a 57-year-old actor who starred in Friends, has likely recalled more of the hit sitcom in her recent interview with Today. Even though the film was shot over a decade, she said she doesn't remember working on the set of Friends.
When Cox, who played Monica Geller on the hit sitcom, realized that she had a terrible memory when she was preparing for the HBO Max reunion special in May 2021. She said she should have watched all ten seasons, because when I did the reunion and was asked questions, I was like, I don't remember being there.
There are moments in which she does not remember filming when she sees the program again, she said. "I just stop and think, Oh my God, I dont remember this at all," Cox said.
Before Friends became a global phenomenon, director Jim Burrows paid $500 for her and her castmates on a trip to Las Vegas. He said, I want you to take care of this moment, like, because it will be the last time that all six of you can walk through a casino. And we were like, Whoa.
Cox continued, I mean, I dont want to sound like, Look at us. Were not, you know, the Beatles, but people feel like you know them. I think it would be fascinating to people to see the Friends reunion special, which was aptly named The One Where They Return Together.
