In Antwerp, Almost 4 Tons Of Cocaine Were Found In A Container With Fish
In the port of Antwerp in one warehouse in a container with sea fish found almost 4 tons of cocaine with a total value of 200 million euros. This is reported by the NL Times. Police also seized three Kalashnikov assault rifles.
An investigation was launched and 14 Dutch citizens were detained. Several suspects were arrested right in the warehouse.
The United Nations Maritime control program found that up to half of the total volume of cocaine bound for Europe passed through Antwerp in 2019, the Brussels Times reported. Within just a year, 77 tons of this drug was intercepted in this port.
