While Mariah Carey was on vacation, her Atlanta home was burglarized ...

Mariah Carey may want to be more cautious when posting vacation pictures.

Carey was busy vacationing in both Capri and the Hamptons in July, when her house was burglarized.

Police have confirmed the break-in, but caution that the information may be limited since this is still an open investigation. It is unknown what was taken.

Reps for Careys did not reply to a request for assistance.

In November 2021, a trust, which bears the same name as several other Carey properties and business interests, purchased the $5.65 million dollar mansion. The nine-bedroom, 13-bathroom house has a pool, tennis court, and playground.

Carey and her twins Monroe and Moroccan spent the last month in Italy with Bryan Tanaka.

Pictures of the group were all over the internet, possibly informing thieves that the house would be empty while hanging out on a yacht and flailing in the sea. She shared the story on Instagram.

The singer of All I Want for Christmas used social media to promote Nestseekers, a real estate company that helped her find a rental in Hamptons. On July 25, she posted a photo from out East.

Carey paid more than six figures for her two-week stay at Water Mill, now called Eagles Point.

The burglary was reported to police on July 27.

Carey is well-known for a savory lifestyle. Back in 2017, the diva showed off her Tribeca closet to Vogue, showing off stacks of Louboutins and Birkin bags as well as Marilyn Monroe memorabilia.
