Experiences of Naomi Osaka and Emma Raducanus Have Inspired a New Amazon Show ...

Tennis can be a hot topic, according to anyone who has ever seen it. World Production seems to understand this all too well, and their upcoming new drama, Fifteen-Love, taps into a current trend in conversation about women in sport. From Simone Biles to Emma Raducanu to Pam Shriver, the realities and pressures of being at the top of your game are finally reaching out to us.

Plot of Fifteen Love

Justine Pearce, a promising young tennis player, suffers a serious injury while on the verge of becoming a Grand Slam winner aged 17, and advances to the semi-finals of the French Open with her coach, Glenn Lapthorn. Five years later, when Pearce is working as a therapist at her old tennis academy, she makes a serious complaint against her former coach and tennis partner.

Fifteen-Love is a haunting and moving exploration of trust, power, and obsession in professional sport. They both want to win at the Grand Slam grass court event of the year, and the stately world of professional tennis is rocked by lies, lies, and a desperate bid for control.

Elkington says that writing this drama and the people Ive met while researching it have been beneficial. I hope that Fifteen-Love will have the same effect on its audience and may become a valuable part of this urgent and developing story.

Fifteen-Love Cast

Ella Lily Hyland, who plays Justine Pearce, is the next star on the cast, and she is looking forward to sharing her story with you all.
