The stars from this years star-studded line-up have finally been revealed as the much-anticipated new series draws closer. Find out below.
Kym Marsh, an actor and TV presenter, is one of the first celebrity dancers to be announced this year. According to Metro, Marsh joined the showbiz scene in 2001 when she won the reality TV competition series Popstars, forming the short-lived pop group HearSay. In 2006, she joined the cast of Coronation Street as Michelle Connor, before leaving the soap in 2019.
Marsh said of her planned ballroom experience on BBC Breakfast, I'm nervous, but I'm looking forward to it. She continued, "It's been a long time since I've been on stage, performing in that kind of way," so it's going to be a tough task.
Will Mellor, an actor, singer, and model, will be joining the cast of 2022. He first appeared on the long-running soap opera Hollyoaks as James Bolton in 1995 and 1998, then in the immensely popular BBC comedy Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps as Gaz Wilkinson from 2001 to 2011. He has also released singles, including When I Need You, which reaches number five in the United Kingdom.
Mellor said he is ecstatic to be a part of the new series of Strictly Come Dancing. From then on, I just thought, I've just got to grab life. I've got to make new memories.
Richie Anderson is well-known for his work as a television personality, having appeared on BBC Radio 2 and programs including The Weakest Link and The One Show. Anderson has also previously participated in the Eurovision Song Contest and The Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
Anderson said before his scheduled appearance on Strictly Come Dancing that it is just pure escapism.
Anderson will take part in the new series as a part of a same-sex couple, becoming the third celebrity contestant to do so following Nicola Adams and John Whaite.

Jayde Adams, a comedian, has risen to fame in her own Amazon Prime special, Snackmasters, Crazy Delicious, and Alma's Not Normal. In 2020, Adams directed a popular Edinburgh comedy program.

Ellie Simmonds, a paralympian and broadcaster, is well-known for her gold medal-winning performances at the Beijing, London, and Rio Paralympic Games. In 2009, Simmonds became the youngest person ever to receive an MBE, and in 2013, she was awarded an OBE for services to paralympic sport.
Simmonds said in a statement ahead of her Strictly Come Dancing stint that she'll be learning to dance, meeting my partner, and everyone else involved in the show. Plus wearing the sequins and all that, it'll be a great time.
Tyler West, a radio personality well-known for his KISS FM presenting role, has previously appeared on CBBC, MTV News, HQ Trivia, and hosted the BAFTA Awards Red Carpet Live Show.

Matt Goss, who is well-known as one-third of the 80s boyband Bros, has had a successful music career that has stretched over several decades. More recently, Goss won a BAFTA and National Television award for the 2018 documentary After the Screaming Stops.
Goos stated that he is both excited and nervous about his participation on the program. He added: "I'm optimistic because I'm very strong from the knees down."
Ellie Taylor, an actor and comedian, is a regular guest on comedy panel shows such as BBCs Mock The Week and The Mash Report. She is also a judge on the award-winning Apple TV comedy Ted Lasso, and has published her best-selling book, My Child And Other Mistakes, in 2021.
Taylor said in a statement that she's absolutely thrilled to be a part of Strictly 2022. For me and my mum, who is a Strictly superfan, it's a dream come true!
Molly Rainford, an actor and singer, became the youngest nominee for Britain's Got Talent in 2012. Rainford went on to star in the smash hit CBBC show Nova Jones in 2012, one of which included the single Commitment, which has received more than two million streams as of writing.

Tony Adams, a former Arsenal player who was honored with an MBE in 1999, has declared himself a football legend. He has represented England for 17 years.
Adams said of his highly anticipated Strictly Come Dancing appearance: "To say I'm enthused is an understatement. The lure of the sequins and the call of the salsa have me swapping my worn out football boots for a pair of Strictly soft shoes."
He continued, expressing his humor, saying, "I can't wait to meet my partner God help her and begin the dancing."
Fleur East went on to have acclaim with her debut single Sax, which she also sang on I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2018. East is also the host of the Hits Radio Breakfast Show, and speaking ahead of her Strictly debut, she said she's eager to learn new skills.
She continued in a statement: My dad is no longer with us, but I know he will be watching over the ballroom in spirit. I'm doing this to make him and my family proud, and I'm excited to wear my dancing shoes.
Hamza Yassin, a television presenter, is well-known for hosting BBC's Animal Park. He is well-known for Countryfile, where he is often featured as a guest presenter, and he said he is overwhelmed to be part of this years line-up.
Yassin said: "I've been watching it for years," and I'm shocked that I'll actually be dancing live in front of the British public. My dance abilities are currently at the level of a 1970s disco vibe, but I'm ready to work hard and will be shaking it every time I get the chance!
James Bye has been nominated for Best Storyline at the British Soap Awards since 2014.
Bye has also appeared in the BBC's The Great Train Robbery, and films such as Hummingbird, The Hooligan Factory, and Cemetery Junction.
