Shakira wants to move to Miami and leave the divorce and tax fraud rape in Spain ...

What about Miami, whenever and wherever?

Colombian superstar Shakira, 45, wants to leave Barcelona for Miami and live full-time, leaving behind personal difficulties.

After Spanish authorities accused her of tax fraud, she is also in the midst of a heated custody dispute with the father of her children, Barcelona FC soccer player Gerard Pique, 35.

Barcelona is proving to be a city of bleak memories.

Ana Lourdes Martinez, a family friend and Douglas Elliman realtor, calls the town Shakiras her refuge.

Martinez, who works with Shakira's brother Antonio on the singer's local real estate holdings, told The Post. Her parents live here, her brother lives here, and her niece and nephew live there. It's a different environment from Barcelona.

Shakira is apparently trying to persuade friends like Alejandro Sanz, her La Tortura duet partner, to move her talents to South Beach, and other sources close to the singer confirm her desire to relocate to the Sunshine State.

Leaving Barcelona, where she purchased her first home in 2012, would help to get afloat from the stalemate surrounding Pique and his alleged infidelity.

Pique Shakira, who has been married for 11 years and has two children, was reportedly private messaging other women, including Brazilian model Suzy Cortez, also known as Miss BoomBum, and secretly dating Clara Chia Marti, a 23-year-old public relations student, for months.

In June, Shakira and Pique announced their separation. The power couple met during the World Cup in South Africa. She was there to perform Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) while she competed for his home country of Spain, the winning team that year. The two have the same birthday (February 2), but Shakira is 10 years older. Antonio de la Rua is the son of former Argentine president Fernando de la Rua, and her boyfriend of ten years.

The children are back in Barcelona, staying at their father's bachelor pad as Shakira and Pique's custody battle intensifies. After Shakira took them on a trip to Miami, Los Angeles, and Mexico, they have been granted custody for half of the month.

Shakira never endeared herself to that city or to the Piques inner circle, according to her friends. She is known as "The Boss" behind her back.

Bonds Cay, a private island in the Bahamas, was purchased by her husband for $15 million. The property was intended to be a luxury retreat for artists, but the couple never owned the land.

However, tax problems may put a hole in the singers' $300 million net worth.

Shakira, who was nee Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, is said to have failed to pay $14.7 million in taxes between 2012 and 2014. Theres also the threat of a $23.5 million fine if she is found guilty, according to sources.

Shakira has always complied with and abided by the law, according to her PR representative, while demonstrating impeccable character as an individual and a taxpayer, and faithfully following PriceWaterhouse Coopers' counsel. Sadly, the Spanish Tax Office, which loses one out of every two cases against its taxpayers, continues to violate her rights and pursue yet another baseless case.

To pay for her obligation, the singer has already paid $17.5 million to the Spanish tax office.

According to sources, Shakira isn't concerned about going to prison.

According to one insider, Spanish tax authorities are well-known for abusing wealthy people. It's more of an inconvenience than anything else.

No wonder friends are encouraging her to leave Spain's bad memories and move to the United States.

Shakira stays a quiet time while in Miami, preferring the company of her family rather than going to the bars.

Martinez explains that Shakira is a very family-oriented person. She will not go to a party with a group of friends. No, they gather at her house for barbecues and family activities. It's a home built for entertaining. The kids love being here and being with their abuelos.

The singer has a compelling reason to stay close as her parents get older.

William Mebarak Chadid, 90, of Ashburn, was admitted to the hospital earlier this year, and Shakira wrote a tweet on his behalf. "You taught us to get up after every accident and this time we trust you will do it again," Shakira said on July 9.

Shakira's parents reside in Miami, as do her half-brother Antonio. The siblings are very close, and Tonino is said to be her confidant.

Martinez said her kids are foremost to her. Her family comes first. Her mother is always there for her and Tonino, too.

Martinez shared the listing on their North Bay property with the singer's brother.

Shakira purchased the waterfront property at North Bay Road in 2001 for $3.4 million. The 8,078-square-foot contemporary house features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a wooden gym, a recording studio, and a private dock. Over the years, she has completely renovated the two-story structure, collaborating with Miami architects Ben Lopez & Associates and interior designer Renata Lessa Bastos.

Shakira attempted to sell the property right after her and Piques son Milan were born in 2013, initially for $45,000 a month, and then for $13.9 million in 2015. She then listed the property again for $15.9 million in February 2021, before selling it for the same amount six months later.

According to Martinez, Shakira was offered five to six million more than the asking price at the peak of the epidemic in Miami as well as famous people such as Cindy Crawford, Tom Brady, and David and Victoria Beckham were all flocking to the Magic City.

Martinez continues, referring to Shakira's issues with Pique and the tax evasion controversy immediately after, saying, "This was God's plan." I told her, "This is herhome."

She is a very private person. You will never see her sad in public. She is very patient. She is a fighter. She keeps going till the next chapter.

Martinez said: I grieve for what happened to her and her partner, but that's life. She may continue on her journey in Miami.
