Anne Heches, the producer of the Anne Heches podcast, is remembering the actress after she died on Friday, aged 53.
Though the stars rep said she is brain dead, which makes her legal dead under California law, her heart is still beating and she continues to use life support in order to donate her organs.
Ryan Tillotson, the producer of Heches' podcast Better Together, came out following the tragic news of Heches' death, declaring her to be nothing short of irreplaceable.
Tillotson said the star will be remembered for her big heart, her dedication to the people she loved, and the fearless way she fought for what she believed.
Anne was more than a well-known host, friend, collaborator, and fantastic actress. He wrote on Instagram alongside a picture of her.
Tillotson recalls that Emmy winner said her podcast, which he refers to as a belief system, allowed her to talk openly and to tell stories.
Were committed to continuing her legacy in this way, he said, adding that Los Angeles is a quieter and sadder place without her.
Its surreal to think I won't be seeing her every week. My heart hurts. Anne, he said. Please extend all your love and support to her two boys, Atlas and Homer, and the rest of her chosen family.
After suffering horrific burns in the incident on August 5, the actress, best known for her role as Patricia Campbell in the NBCs drama The Brave, was unable to recover consciousness.
When Heche plowed her blue Mini Cooper into a suburban LA home, sparking a fire, officials thought she might be a drunk.
Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury as a result of the accident.
