Kevin Federline agreed to give a shocking interview about Britney Spears' alleged separation from their children because he and the boys are concerned that the superstars' mental health is being ignored, according to sources.
Kevin conducted the interview because he and the boys are upset. They worry that everybody is completely overlooking that Britney is [battling mental issues], which is not a secret, according to one insider who knows about the Federline situation.
A source for Spears told Page Six that any claims that Federline conducted the interview because of anxieties for the singer are pathetic and inexcusable.
Federline Spears' second husband and father of her two young sons, Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, spoke out and claimed that their boys did not want to see her, despite loving their mother.
He gave an interview to the Daily Mail, which included segments that were also shown on ITV News, and then posted on Instagram two video clips from four years ago of Spears, 40, discussing her children, prompted the singers' attorney to lambast Federline for violating the stars' privacy.
Federline, a former backup dancer who was married to Spears from 2004 until 2007, shared the photos with the caption, "I can not sit back and let my children be accused in this manner after what theyve been through. This is why we have decided to post these pictures. It's our hope that our children will blossom to be better than this."
A source close to Federline told Page Six that posting the videos was not just about making her appear evil or mean, but more about educating people that she has a mental illness, and that [Federline and the sons] worry it will go unchecked.
A former boyfriend of Spears is enraged at Federlines' behavior and told Page Six that the ex-husband isn't a good guy to talk.
Kevin is a nice guy, but he is a loser, according to his ex-boyfriend. Britney and I were both shocked to see them disappear, but Britney knew she was paying them all this money and they were free to live their lives and spend her money as they wanted while she was under a conservatorship and a modest allowance.
Kevin is in the red cross when the children turn 18.
Federline might be getting money from Spears' father, Jamie Spears, who was partly responsible for coordinating the tense conservatorship Spears endured for 13 years.
Despite Jamie's attorney Alex Weingarten's statement to Page Six this week, Jamie has not spoken to Kevin or his grandsons in over three years. There is no truth to any of this.
Federline told the Daily Mail this week that the boys are not seeing her right now. Its been a few months since they have seen her. They have decided not to attend her wedding.
Federline said he has had a difficult time explaining Spears' decision to post nude and nearly nude photos on Instagram to his two children. Maybe that's just another way she expresses herself. However, that doesn't change the fact that it doesn't happen to them.
Federlines' attorney has declined to make any remarks.
According to Page Six, Britney Spears is a brilliantly talented and extremely hardworking artist that is rightfully admired and respected by millions of people around the globe. The same cannot, unfortunately, be said about Mr. Federline, who has chosen to conduct a gratuitous interview that has harmed the mother of his children.
Rosengart said that the vocalist of Oops! I Did It Again has devotedly supported her sons and loves them dearly.
Whether or not he realizes it or not, Mr. Federline has not only violated the privacy and dignity of his children's mothers, he has also jeopardized his own children, whom he should protect, according to the attorney who assisted Spears in her 13-year conservatorship.
Spears herself admitted earlier this week that she has had to cope with Federline after he revealed in an ITV interview that Sean Preston and Jayden James have decided not to see their mother for a few months.
On Instagram, the Toxic singer said the accusations were untrue, implying that she is concerned. She said her sons would mock her when she visits her house.
