Tom Hiddleston Goes Crazy in a Set Video for Loki Season 2

Tom Hiddleston Goes Crazy in a Set Video for Loki Season 2 ...

The most successful Marvel Studios series has ever produced is Lokihaseasily. A record number of people tuned in to see what happened to the Variant of Tom Hiddleston that was briefly seen inAvengers: Endgame. Little did most fans know that the journey would involve a proper introduction to the Multiverse, thebureaucratic TVA, and the next big bad:Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror.

Another unique feature of the show was that it was the first, and still the only, live-action streaming series from Marvel Studios to get a second season. That continuation has just begun production, so, unfortunately, moreLokiis is still a long way off, with the release date set for summer 2023.

Apart from the whole cast returning, the only clues audiences have about the hit Disney+ season is that something significant will happenat a McDonald's restaurant in the 1970s where a variation of Sylvie appears to be involved.

A new video from the set has been posted on Twitter that gives us another shocking hint at what to expect next year.

Loki, directed by Tom Hiddleston, goes wild.

A new set video of Tom Hiddleston filmingLokiSeason 2 has been published on the internet, showing the titular character going a little crazy, or at least what it appears like without any context.

The video shows the God of Mischief outside what looks like a car dealership. From the looks of it, the actor is stepping out of an imaginary portal/TVA door and possibly firing a missile ahead of him, flailing around in the process. There's no indication of what he's aiming at, whether that's an inflatable tube guy or something else entirely.

What's Loki Up To in Season 2?

Given how wacky the first season of the series was, it should go without saying that there is no way to say anything about anything in the above clip with any notable accuracy. The exception is that it appears difficult to refute the involvement of a portal or TVA door at the start of Hiddleston's actions.

The return of Kang the Conqueror would be a good guess as no one knows what the god of mischief will be up against in this second season. It's a bit odd to have teased the villain's huge threat in the previous finale and left it up to every other Marvel Cinematic Universe project to investigate his imminent threat.

Ravonna Renslayer, Kang's main love interest in the comics, is still on the run. He's likely to have found him between the events of Seasons 1 and 2, and their dynamic could play a role in whatever happens next.

With that Sylvie Variant being discovered at McDonalds in the 1970s, odds are that finding her original self, whom Loki became very close with, will play a significant role in at least a portion of the sophomore outing. There's already a set photo showing Sophia Di Martino in her proper outfit, so that's at least some solid evidence that they'll find her sometime.

Lokiis is expected to launch on Disney+ at some point in the summer of 2023.
