The Phoenix wireless headphones from Urbanista can harness the sun's energy ...

Urbanista, a Swedish audio company, has released its first solar-powered wireless headphones. The Urbanista Los Angeles over-ear headphones did not include solar charging as previously. The new Phoenix ANC buds can harness the sun's energy through the charging case.

TL;DR

If you're a frequent traveler, chances are you'll want devices that have a long battery life or fast charging capabilities. Urbanista's Phoenix true wireless headphones seem to work on the latter. The pair of headphones can have extended use as it has a solar-powered charging case.

Urbanista claims that an hour of charging the case under the sun (or ambient light) will give you another hour of battery life. Although this may seem limited, it might be useful in situations when power outlets are absent. The Urbanista Phoenix earbuds alone last up to eight hours in a single charge, which is still quite adequate. Users can extend it for up to 32 hours using the case.

The Urbanista Phoenix earphones have a stem-based design similar to the Nothing Ear (1) and Xiaomi's Redmi Buds 4. Nevertheless, they are compatible with Siri or Google's active noise cancellation feature.

Urbanista Phoenix's connectivity and pricing are great.

The Urbanista Phoenix is now equipped with a newer Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity and USB-C connection.

The price of the in-ear headphones is listed as $149 (149 / 129). However, Urbanista is scheduled to ship its Phoenix solar-charging headphones later this year.
