A senior Indonesian police officer has been charged with murder after instructing other officers to shoot dead brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat.
Ferdy Sambo, the head of the Internal Affairs Divisions inspector general, is currently on death row for the shocking murder.
Nofriansyah, 28, was shot and killed by his friend Private Second Class E at Ferdys house in South Jakarta last month.
According to PETA, the SeaWorld orca died after 20 years of whale bullying in a small tank.
Before his death, Nofriansyah served as Ferdys bodyguard, and authorities are looking into allegations that he molested Ferdys wife and made threats to kill her.
According to Listyo Sigit Prabowo, the National Police Chief's special task force [for the case] has named Ferdy as a suspect.
Listyo continued by claiming that further research had revealed that there had not even been a shootout, and that Ferdy had merely staged the event, which was merely an opportunity.
Police claim that to accomplish this, he targeted the houses of Nofriansyahs.
Police are still trying to determine if he shot his bodyguard.
Ferdy gave him the order to kill Nofrinsyh, according to Privte Second Clss E's testimony.
The Indonesi Criminl Code has imposed the deth penlty for the premeditated murder.
