Vanessa Bryant's Lawsuit For Kobe Bryant CrashPhotos Has Arrived ...

According to ESPN News, the lawsuit against Los Angeles County Sheriff and Fire Department began on Wednesday (Aug. 11). Authorities leaked photos from the helicopter crash that claimed the lives of her husband, NBA star, 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others. She is reportedly seeking unspecified millions of dollars.

According to a lawsuit, she feels sick about the thought that sheriffs, officials, and members of the public have misled about gratuitous images of her deceased husband and child. She fears that she or her children may one day confront abusive photos of their loved ones online.

Bryant has filed a lawsuit against the helicopter charter company and the deceased pilots estate in June 2021. A federal judge in January denied a defense motion to dismiss Bryant's lawsuit, which was initially filed in September 2020.

This lawsuit is about accountability and about preventing this disgraceful behavior from happening to other family members who have lost their jobs. The Department formally refused Mrs. Bryants' requests for information, saying it was incapable of helping with any investigation and had no legal obligation to do so. Its now up to a court to tell the department what its obligations are, according to Bryants' attorney. Luis Li.

Despite being told to delete all photographs, photographs included victims' body parts and were shared on at least 28 devices owned by sheriffs deputies and a dozen firefighters.

In a similar case brought by two families who died in the collision, the county has already agreed to pay a $2.5 million settlement. Vanessa Bryant has refused to settle the case.
