These 11 Spider-Man Movies & Shows Are Wanted by Disney ...

When people think of Marvel, the first character that comes to their minds might be Captain America or Iron Man, but most often than not, they jump right to Peter Parker, aka, Spider-Man. Peter has long been Marvel's golden goose and one of their most enduringly popular (and marketable) characters. There's just a lot of sense about a guy who will do whatever it takes to help others, even at a personal cost.

Spidey first appeared on Marvel Comics sixty years ago, in 1962. He's been capturing the hearts and minds of fans ever since. Naturally, the Wall-Crawler has had quite a variety of other adventures outside of the comics, on the big and small screen. These include films that have made more than a billion dollars a piece at the box office.

Ob one likes Tom Holland's take on the character or grew up with Tobey Maguire's, the Spider-Man character has something to offer for everyone.

Disney has issued a communative list of suspicious suggestions.

In recognition of the Web-Slinger's 60-year anniversary, Disney's official fan club website,, has presented a list of Spider-Man-focused recommendations that are available for viewing on Disney+ or Hulu.

The Series of Spider-Man: (1994-1997)

Children of the 90s rejoice, as what many consider to be the ultimate Spider-Man cartoon can be downloaded on Disney+. Christopher Daniel Barnes serves as the web-headed hero, and the cast even includes acting legend Ed AsnerofThe Mary Tyler Moore Showas the irascible J. Jonah Jameson.

2.)Spider-Man (2002)

In the original live-action Spider-Man film, the character came to the silver screen, starring who else except Tobey Maguire as the OG Peter Parker. The film also featured Mary Jane Watson and Norman Osborn, as well as two sequels and several loaves of dying-hard enthusiasts.

2.)Spider-Man 2(2004)

Maguire returns as the Web-Slinger with this intense thriller, which sees Peter live on his own in New York, grappling with rogue metal-appendaged scientists, pizza deliveries, and back injuries.

4.)Spider-Man 3 (2007)

While this film was initially, on its release, critics and fans alike disapproved, but it has now improved. Perhaps, considering that he and MJ nearly end their romance due to the influence of an alien symbiote. Thomas Haden Church and Topher Grace also staras villains.

5.)Ultimate Spider-Man(2012-2016)

Another animated series, which isn't as popular as the 1990s incarnation. It's evidently irreverent in tone and combines Peter with other teen superheroes like White Tiger and Iron Fist.

6.)The Amazing Spider-Man 2(2014)

Andrew Garfield takes the lead in this sequel to the 2012 film, The Amazing Spider-Man, which is an adaptation of the live-action film franchise. Spider-Man battles non only with Jamie Foxx's Electro, but also with the Green Goblin and the Rhino.

7.)Spider-Man: Homecoming (2018)

Another live-action reboot, but this time, the character and his world are still engulfed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Tom Holland discusses his classic appearance in Captain America: Civil Warin this film, and Tony Stark serves as his mentor.

8.)Spider-Man from Marvel (2017-2020)

The Webhead's voice acting duties were perhaps the least-popular animated entry on this list. It ran for three seasons on Disney XD.

9.)Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

In late 2018, the first major Spider-Man motion picture to star Miles Morales instead of Peter Parker took the world by storm, combining unusually organized action and remarkable visuals. The film did well enough to spawn two sequels which are now in development.

10.)Spider-Man: Far From Home

In the closing seconds of the film, Pete outweighs his true identity, posing a boatload of ruthless problems.

11.)Spider-Man: No Way Home

As Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire return to the mix up with Holland through multiversal shenanigans, the capper to Marvel Studios and Sony's first MCU Spider-Trilogy features not one, not two, but three Spider-Men.

What a Spider Can!

Spider-Man is a multibillion-dollar superhero whose character has been in so many things in the last sixty years. Comic books, animated series, and live-action movies. There was even a short-lived theatrical stage show that Marvel would certainly wish to forget.

A third film starring Tom Holland is in development, although no release date has been announced and production has not begun. But that won't stop the character's wildly popular fan base from speulating, posing, and pledging at the bit forSpider-Man 4.

The next film will reprise with Parker in a unique position with no one remembering who he is. Dr. Strange cast a spell to this effect, preventing the Multiverse from imploding.

None of the live-actionSpider-Manmovies are available for viewing on Disney+, but they will be added to the platform until other streaming agreements expire.
