Wakanda Foreveris will feature another notable Marvel character from the comics in the form of Namor the Sub-Mariner, who is portrayed by Tenoch Huerta (Narcos: Mexico, TheForever Purge). The first trailer for the sequel revealed the actor's official appearance as Namor, revealing a unique design that ties to the Mayan community, while also confirming that he is the movie's main villain.
Huerta, who presented the film during this year's San Diego Comic-Con, expressed his excitement about portraying Namor in the MCU, saying, "The moment when he was introduced was "huge," while also acknowledging that it's an inspiring experience to see people like him become heroes, even though myheritage is different."
A fresh update may indicate that more Namor scenes will be added to Wakanda Forever now, ahead of the film's November release.
Reshoots for a Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel have been confirmed by the Black Panther 2 star.
Tenoch Huerta, an actor from Namor, revealed that Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was considering reshoots after the San Diego Comic-Con, but she also revealed additional information about the MCU sequel.
"To be honest, my life hasn't changed that much. Im doing handwriting, moving, and some new framing. "It's like doing little things at the end of every film," says a professor.
Huerta remarked that he returned to Marvel Studios at the end of the cast and crew's presentation at this year's San Diego Comic-Con "to keep working" on the sequel:
"As a matter of fact, that same day at the end of our presentation at Comic-Con, we returned to the studios, to keep working, so I haven't had much spare time. I have been working all these days, and this is my first day off of work. "
Fans of Wakanda Forever "everything's in order," according to a Narcos:Mexicoactor.
"So, everything goes well, everythings in order. I feel really satisfied, at peace, and satisfied. I mean, eventually, I'll be back at home, and all the bills will be there, right? "
Will Namor's Reshoots add additional scenes to the game?
Tenoch Huerta's role as Namor has been confirmed by Marvel Studios during press interviews. Although the actor's loyal response might have been reversed due to the confirmation of the sequel's reshoots, it has yet to clarify how significant Huerta's role will be in the film.
It's understandable that more scenes were added to fully showcase Namor's MCU debut. It's possible that the scenes that were added would be useful to Namor's leadership while also adding additional sequences to establish Talocan, the new location that the film is confirmed to introduce.
There's a possibility that Namor's scenes with other characters were included in the reshoots, such as with Shuri from Letitia Wright and possibly Danai Gurira's Okoye.
Reshoots have been a common theme for Marvel films, and this phase of production has improved some of the studio's projects. For example, Thor: Love and Thunder's reshoots added the flashback montage between Chris Hemsworth's God of Thunder and Natalie Portman's Jane Foster, giving viewers more context about the romantic pair's rupture.
While information about Wakanda Forever's reshoots are unknown, it's reasonable to assume that the scenes that were added would significantly improve the sequel, similar to whatTaika Waititidid did to Thor 4.
On Friday, November 11, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in theaters.
