The same source has suggested that Google's first foldable device may employ a revolutionarycamera technology that will eventually eliminate the need for punch hole displays while providing significantly improved image quality than it is today.

The Digital Station has given an additional insight on the Pixel 7 Ultra, a mysterious Google device. According to the leaker, Google's first foldable might include a high-tech ultra-micro hole camera that will be used as a front-facing or selfie camera on its inner display.

The hardware is said to have a different design than the under-display sensor used on Samsung's Galaxy Fold 4. Instead of concealing the lens or requiring punch holes to cut out on the display, the UMH camera will be placed along the frame or bezel of the device. More importantly, the quality of the imageis described is better than the present under-display cameras.

Pixel Fold's camera specifications and the launch date
Along with the game-changing camera, the Pixel Fold is expected to use the Tensor 2 chipset similar to the upcoming Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. According to a separate article by Kuuba Wojciechowski, the foldable might include a larger front display and a wider and shorter profile.
The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be fully available next month. If we're lucky, Google might share some information about the foldable device, which is hoped to arrive next year.
