Plot and Cast of The Old Man
Season 2 will most likely deal with the aftermath of Chase and Harper's quest to save Emily and get to Faraz Hamzad. Zoe remains one of his strongest support systems in the previous episode, leading him to reconnect with Harper and save his daughter.
Morgan Bote was always the one who decided to make the decision, thus giving the greatest twist that no one anticipated. He was always the one who called the shots and pulled the strings. With Zoe (Amy Brenneman) and Emily (Alia Shawkat) as collateral, it's safe to say that Chase and Harper were almost puppets.
The main characters expected to reprise their roles in Season 2 will include John Lithgow as Harold Harper, Bridges as Dan Chase, and Amy Brenneman as Zoe McDonald, who are still unsure if Alia Shawkat will reprise her role as Young Abbey Chase / Belour. The same applies to Leem Lubany as Young Abbey Chase / Belour and E. J. Bonillas Raymond Waters.
The Old Man Season 2 Release Date
The series' production eventually resumed in early 2022, and the filming for the next installment will begin sometime in mid-to-late 2023.
For the time being, we can anticipate that the second season will consist of seven episodes as the first season. However, an official confirmation is still awaiting.
