Matt Smith Is Perfectly Reacting To Morbius Being a Flop ...

The film that flopped was by no means a box office success. Even when the MCU decided to bring it back to theaters, things did not go well. It's not necessarily the actors who are to blame, as many people are to blame. It's a matter of course, and I'm not gonna ever give up on his life. However, his character could play a role in the next Spider-Man film.

Morbius became a box office flop by every measure. Even when the hilarious Its Morbin Time meme went viral on the internet, things did not go well. Sometimes superhero films just flop. That's not necessarily the actors fault, which is something that Matt Smith has discussed. Smith played the villain Lucien Crown in the film. At the end of the day, it's a film that's not a rescuer.

Matt Smith seems to have the correct notion about letting go of Morbius being a flop. The actors did what they were told to do, and the film just did not work out in their favor, and it may be that the film was thrown under the bus, mostly due to Sony's superhero films in general. Also, it could be that people are experiencing too much content.

Matt Smith knows how to deal with flops, as he was part of Terminator: Genisys, which was also a flop. That led to that franchise being relaunched with Tim Miller's Terminator: Dark Fate, which also flopped. That is something everybody should do.

Morbius's disappearance might not warrant a second film, but Sony is still working on the SpiderVerse. El Muerto, Madame Web, and Kraven the Hunter are all being developed, and are supposed to serve as a sort of Sinister Six team-up for the next Spider-Man to take on. Andrew Garfield or Tobey Maguire might return to the franchise some time soon, and the same might apply to Jared Leto.
