Us Weekly reported that the streamer had already renewed the hit real estate reality show for not one but two seasons more. But as Mary Fitzgerald cryptically warned in Season 5, fans will have to wait to find out who will be fired from the agency and the show itself.
Season 6 of Selling Sunset is on the verge of a release date.
Season 5 of Selling Sunset completed production in December, but the cast was planning to take a break before returning to production on Season 6, according to a source in January. In June, Netflix announced that Seasons 6 and 7 would begin production this summer. Fans can likely expect a similar four-month release timeline if that is the case. Season 6 could premiere in early 2023.
Season 6 of Sunset is a selling plot.
Selling Sunset follows the lives of the prestigious team of real estate agents at The Oppenheim Group in Los Angeles. But the dynamic between agents at the brokerage and in their personal lives has been and continues to be a major component of reality shows.
After it was revealed that the realtors had previously dated the same man, Season 5 focused on Chrishell Stauses' relationship with CEO Jason Oppenheim, which was confirmed in the summer of 2021. Perhaps next season will follow the aftermath of their December 2021 split?
The Selling Sunset Season 5 reunion, reported on April 12, retold by E! News, which reintroduced some Season 6 details as the women addressed pressing issues. According to the outlet, the first-of-its-kind special was taped on April 24 in Los Angeles and hosted by Queer Eye star Tan France.
Season 6 Cast of Selling Sunset
When Selling Sunset returns, Emma Hernan and Vanessa Villela joined the cast in Season 4, joining alongside Season 5 actors Mary Fitzgerald, Chrishell Stause, Christine Quinn, Brett and Jason Oppenheim, Amanza Smith, Heather Rae El Moussa (nee Young), Davina Potratz, and Maya Vander.
Nicole Young and Bre Tiesi, both from the Oppenheim Group, have been announced for Seasons 6 and 7. She is known for her consulting work in the luxury industry, and she recently welcomed a son, Legendary Love, with boyfriend Nick Cannon. There's a possibility that Cannon will make an appearance in the next season.
Maya Vander announced in December 2021 that she would not be returning to E! again due to a third child's birth. She has since founded her own Florida real estate company, The Maya Vander Group.
Vanessa, Chrishell, and Christine's futures at The Oppenheim Group were also left up in the air at the end of Season 5. After Emma claimed that Christine offered her $5,000 to quit working with her, it appeared equally likely that Christine would quit or be fired from The Oppenheim Group. Finally, Chrishell's final separation from Jason sowed doubt about whether she would continue to work for her ex.
When more information about the cast of Selling Sunset Season 6, the premiere date, and trailer will be released.
